I got one for
martes car. She's driving mine today so I coud get the stereo installed in hers. When I got in the car around 1PM it was actually cooler inside the house that it was inside the HOUSE.
Only minor irritation is that we have to remove the antenna every time we put it on. The kit comes with a grommet to fit around the antenna so you don't have to do that, but that would involve bending the antenna over every time and also risking ripping the cover itself, which was not cheap. Easier to just unscrew the antenna and throw it in the trunk.
Incidentally the sterio in the car sounds better than ever, and I can tune stations in San Diego with it now.
