Had to blow it off again

It was another 20's night, and I wanted to go (again) but I didn't get off work until 45 minutes before a show that was about 30 miles away, and being dirty and tired after working 13 hours straight didn't really leave me in the mood to go there alone.

The only way I can get to this place is if I plan ahead the night before, have a change of clothes in the van and take off straight from work, but even that would have gotten me there after the show started.
