At home today

And I'm typing this on my Visor ANYWAY. since it's 94.2 degrees in the garage.

I'm still wavering on working an overtime day tomorrow. I got pushed out of the garage before I got a lot of the things I wanted to do done. I don't need the overtime money that badly at the moment, and my base work week still has 12.5 hours of overtime in it.

I did manage to get one of the four major home repair jobs done today. Four of the window screens got replaced, the cat door in the front screen works again, and the back sliding door is now one of the heavy duty kind, so I should not be woken up again at 12;30 in the morning by the sound of the thing faling off. Also the screen on martes office was replaced. it was all bent out of shape as I had gained entrance to teh house a couple of times that way and hand't been all that delicate with it.

I still need to repaint parts of the house where the vines tore it up, get some major plumbing work done in the bathroom and monitor the job beng done on the front lawn, which is being replaced.

I guess a lot of people are reading this journal by itself, as one of my icons just appered on someone else's journal that isn't on my friends list here. But that's the price of being popular.
