Work week finally over.
Jun. 25th, 2003 07:04 pmAfter an 11 hour shift, a 2 hour commute. Normally it's about 75 minutes but traffic today was worse than normal for no apparent reason. I also just missed the shuttle bus leaving work, and the 10 minute delay cost me. That 10 minute delay added 20 minutes of driving time I guess.
Garage was over 90 degrees when I got home, so anything I wrote at work will stay in the Visor and the PPC until later this evening. But it's nothing of any great consequence. I got home, turned the Audiotron on and just crashed on the couch for an hour. I was more tired than I thought as I had a hard time just waking up. But that 63 hour work week is in the can. I get my day off and start back up on Friday. Tomorrow I have a doctor's appointment and another appointment to have 3 screen windows on the house replaced, and I now discover I made them for the same time. I'll go to the doctor in the afternoon after it's too hot to do anything at home. I don't know why I made that appointment for 9:30 AM, during the summer the morning hours are too valuable. My "office" is not air conditioned and during the summer becomes uninhabitable after about 2PM. It's 93.2 in there now, so I'm on
martes computer which is the only one inside the actual house.
matthigh just made an observation that I myself made awhile back, the consolidation of the media has rendered radio pretty mcuh useless. That's where the Audiotron comes in - it can tune internet radio stations. Whatever you want,a dn pretty much commercial free if you avoid
