The travelling phone numbers

martes and I each have our own phone numbers.  They began life as POTS lines, became. Vonage numbers, moved again to a different VOIP provider (phonepower) that cost even less, briefly became Tmobile cell phones (a necessary intermediate step) and finally became google voice numbers.

 

Bottom line after all that is we now have free phone service.   And you can text both numbers now.
