Just musing...

I wonder if I can use a syringe from the vet clinic to inject fountain pen ink in my used up rollerball pen and bring it back to life. Like reloading laser toner or even ammunition, it may only work once or twice before the pen mechanically fails, but unless there is something substantially different about the ink, it should work.

I'll be out maybe 2 cents worth of ink, the used syringe and needle will be free and the pen is essentially trash at that point anyway.
