Open Sky (to spam, apparently)
May. 1st, 2009 06:26 pmSkype now has incorporated a bridge to regular SIP calls, the result being that I'm now getting a constant barrage of "open_sky_13" calls from anonymous telemarketers. Consequenly VOIP has become significantly less useful to me. They consider this an improvement?
If I didn't have so much tied up in skype specific hardware (all dating from 2006 when skype did its big popularity burst) I would abandon it as the Magicjack has pretty much satisfied the need for regular telephone calls.
Incidentally, the reason for the seeming silence here is that I've fallen victim to Twitter along with everyone else. Most of what I have to say actually DOES fit into 140 character chunks, so thats where they are going.
