Maxwells at Forbidden City

With the Argyle Hotel permanently remodeled into some Miami Vice styled monstrocity, the original Maxwell's at the Argyle club did a one nith stand at a nearbly establishment called "The Forbidden City Club. It looks really good on the website but is, in fact, a dive constructed mostly of cinder blocks. So the ambience factor was not there. I dressed up a little but not much.

Trio Gonzalo played, sounding a lot like the soundtrack of Triplets of Belleville. Then there was a macgician who was pretty good and then the always good sounding Moras modern Rythmists played.
