Since nobody else wanted to volunteer to get up to be at the radio station to take pledges at 6AM (which is sleeping in for me) I did the first 4 hour block of time yesterday during pledge week. I didn't take any phone calls as they didn't start coming in until after another volunteer with more experience had also arrived.

I did eat a lot of food, as well as got a free T-Shirt, a really nice pen, some car window decals and 8 tickets for the Laugh Factory, which is right across the street from where the Argyle is located.

I also got to know a lot of the3 personalities there, and how public radio politics are just like Retro 30's nightclub politics - which are just like fandom politics, and bears a very strong resemblance to the politics I see at work.

They must all be the same species or something.
